About Us

Welcome to InfoHub, a platform created to support the hardworking professionals in the social housing sector, especially those managing housing maintenance. Founded by Mike Wilson and Chris McKellar, both of whom have spent their entire careers in social housing, InfoHub is designed to provide the resources you need to make your job easier.

Mike and Chris not only share a long-standing friendship, but they also share a passion for dogs! Mike’s terrier puppy, Dottie, and Chris’s Cavachon, Teddy, are often by their sides as they work on InfoHub. We’re sure as time goes on, you’ll get to know Dottie and Teddy better—maybe even see a few pictures of them on the site.

Mike and Chris both established successful consultancies—Tristar Consulting and Formula Consulting—offering consultancy and interim management services across the social housing sector, with a particular focus on Direct Labour Organisations (DLOs). After a combined 60 years of service, they wanted to give something back to a sector that has been central to their lives and careers.

Our Purpose

At InfoHub, our mission is to provide a free, accessible repository of resources for colleagues working in social housing maintenance. Whether you’re new to the sector or have years of experience, we believe you should have access to tools and templates that save time and make your work easier.

We live by a simple mantra: Keep it simple. All the documents we provide are designed to be really useful, but also really simple. No unnecessary complications—just straightforward resources that you can quickly adapt to your specific needs.

All of the downloads on InfoHub are completely free—no hidden catches. Many of these documents have been created with the help of AI, but rest assured, every document is reviewed by either Mike or Chris to ensure quality and relevance. The templates are 80-90% ready to go, but you’ll need to tailor them slightly to fit your organisation’s exact requirements.
